Applied steps

Crop images with a free or fixed ratio

TimeSave's image cropper trims your photo to the exact area you want, right in the browser. Choose a preset ratio like 1:1, 4:3, or 16:9, or set a free region by entering the position and size. Apply, and the cropped result appears next to the original instantly — nothing is uploaded.

Cropping helps you frame a subject, make a square avatar, or cut out unwanted edges. Because crop focuses on one image at a time, you keep precise control over the result. Afterwards you can resize, compress, or convert the cropped output without starting over.

Frequently asked questions

Why can I only crop one image at a time?
Crop regions are specific to each image's dimensions, so applying one box to many images rarely makes sense. Load a single image to enable cropping.
How do the ratio presets work?
Choosing a preset fits the largest box of that ratio into your image and centers it. You can then fine-tune the position and size values.
Can I undo a crop?
Yes. Every applied step is listed under Applied steps, and Undo removes the last one and recomputes from the original, so quality is preserved.
